The SleepCarrier X has flexible but study sides with a firm mattress. The breathable structure provides comfort and shelter to your baby. The SleepCarrier X meets the safety requirements and is approved for overnight sleep. Meaning you, as a parent, can rest easy. Whether for use at home or while travelling, you know you always have a safe space for your baby.
The portable baby nest
An on-to-go solution that can slot into all prams and fold down for travel. Use the handles to seamlessly move your baby from crib to pram without disturbing nap time.
Before carrying or lifting make sure both handles are fastened with the handle strap. The cords must be tightened, to the maximum, to avoid any risk of the baby rolling out of the SleepCarrier.
A handle strap is always included when you buy SleepCarrier X but if you lose it you can buy a spare.

What is the difference between the SleepCarrier vol. 3 & X?
The Najell SleepCarrier X is a redefinition of the popular SleepCarrier. The SleepCarrier X is longer than ever, or 5cm longer than SleepCarrier vol. 3. Providing more space and giving your baby more time to grow into it. The sides are higher than before, flexible and firm, with stabilizing boards in both sides and in the bottom. The firm sides, mean that SleepCarrier X can be used for unsupervised and overnight sleep according to European Safety Standard EN 1466:2023, taking effect in the summer of 2024, when the firm sides become mandatory for the product to be approved for overnight sleep. In addition, SleepCarrier X is made from 99% recycled or bio-based materials.
Both designs include breathable air mesh sides that have been extended to surround all sides of the SleepCarrier and Najell handle strap holders. Making it even easier to attach and carry both handles together.
SleepCarrier X does not include the integrated harness as SleepCarrier vol 3.

What are the benefits to the firm sides?
The firm sides with stabilizing plates integrated into both sides (and one in the bottom as before) make the sides firm. They are mandatory for the product to be approved for unsupervised sleep, according to the European safety standard EN 1466:2023, taking effect in the summer of 2024.
From what age can I use the SleepCarrier?
The SleepCarrier is designed to be used from day 1. Buy the SleepCarrier before the baby is born and keep it in your bed for a week. This will give the SleepCarrier your scent and help calm your baby from the very beginning.
For how long can I use the SleepCarrier?
You can use the SleepCarrier throughout the baby’s first year, starting from day 1. However, when the baby is able to roll or sit up on its own, you should not use the SleepCarrier to carry the baby.
Does the SleepCarrier X come with a Najell handle strap holder?

If you wish to use the SleepCarrier as a playmat you simply loosen the drawstrings and fold it out so it becomes flat. Perfect for practising tummy time.Can I wash the SleepCarrier?
Yes. The SleepCarrier is machine washable at 40° C. Wash it separately and in a laundry bag or the Najell laundry bag. Remember to remove the stabilizing boards in the bottom and in both long sides, before washing. Use a mild detergent without bleach. Do not tumble dry.
